Managing Inventory Across CJ Dropshipping and AliExpress Together

August 11, 2026

Most eBay dropshippers don't stay on one supplier for long. You start with CJ Dropshipping or AliExpress, and within a few months your catalog is a mix of both — different products, different strengths, sometimes the same product cheaper on one than the other. That's good for margins and product selection. It's also where inventory management quietly gets much harder.

Why mixing suppliers multiplies the work

Checking stock on one supplier's site is a routine. Checking it on two — different login, different product page layout, different way variants are shown — isn't twice the routine, it's two separate routines you have to remember to run, on two different schedules, because CJ and AliExpress stock don't move in sync with each other either.

It's easy to end up checking whichever supplier you happen to be logged into that day, and under-checking the other one by default — not out of carelessness, just because splitting attention across two systems is genuinely harder than managing one.

The spreadsheet doesn't scale either

A common next step is a manual tracking sheet — SKU, supplier, last-checked stock. It helps for a while, but it's only ever as accurate as the last time someone updated it by hand, and every new product from either supplier is one more row someone has to remember to maintain. The sheet doesn't know when stock actually changes; it just holds whatever was true the last time a person looked.

What a real multi-supplier setup needs

Three things, specifically: stock checked automatically and continuously — not manually, not on a schedule someone has to remember; the same treatment for every listing regardless of which supplier it came from, so nothing gets under-checked just because it's the "other" supplier; and one place to see all of it, instead of switching between two supplier dashboards to get the full picture of your catalog.

Get those three right and which supplier a product comes from stops being something you have to actively manage — it becomes a detail the system handles, not a second job.

Consolidating without losing flexibility

The goal isn't to pick one supplier and stop using the other — mixing CJ and AliExpress is usually the right call for product selection and margins. The goal is making sure adding a second supplier doesn't also mean adding a second manual process. One dashboard that watches both, the same way, is what actually makes that possible.

EasySync watches CJ Dropshipping and AliExpress stock side by side, in one dashboard, with the same automation for both.
